This stone wall surrounds an old cemetery.

The stone wall is a beautiful composition but I was really intrigued by the promise of the path into the pasture. Just begging for a rider on horseback.
Hi Sunny
each of these three shots is evocative and entrancing...
Who were the people long gone who built the barn, the wall and the fence...
I love the open gate, it invites you in...
Happy days
I love the stone walls of the New England area...and so appreciate beautiful old trees...lovely photos!
hi friend..gr8 2 hear fm u after a long time...cheers...
What a wonderful series of shots. They capture some of the many wonderful attributes of New England scenery!
The tree in the first shot looks so majestic and massive. The barn is dwarfed by it. Really great photos.
Wow Sunny. The barn is awesome and the tree is magnificent! Very nice post. I enjoy these kind of things.
I have a thing about gates, wondering what lies on the other side. I liked all the pictures though, the tree by the barn is a neat.
I love the gorgeous greens you found. Your images make those places look so inviting and stimulate the imagination.
Gorgeous Sunny... I love the big shade trees in Summer... NOW--go back in Fall when the trees have turned and take that picture again. Talk about gorgeous!!!!
Great photos.
Hugs,
Betsy
All three of those photos are wonderful. You have a great eye for good composition. That tree must be very old. I like the weathered wood and paths also. Have a good day.
Sunny...that is one gorgeous tree and the barn too! As you know I am a sucker for trees and barns! I also like your other pics as well. Your images are truly New Englandy...is that a word? A place I have never been to (other than Boston) but must go someday.

It does look like a great place to take a walk. LOVE the old barn.
Very eye pleasing views of the countryside, Sunny. I always enjoy seeing old barns and buildings.
If only they could talk...
Sunny,
The pictures are lovely! Makes me want to sneak into the screen for a real tour!
Then the music that goes along with this blog, places a peace surrounding feeling of adventure and dreaming.
Wow I love this blogspot!
Beautiful shots! I love getting off the beaten path and exploring the quiet countryside.
Wonderful photos Sunny :)
All three my favorites...trees, stone walls, and old fences..
Three beautiful shots, Sunny.
Lovely photo's....really like the countryside, & stone wall particularly great. Reminds me of stone walls in the Lake District,England.
Take care Sunny
Hi Sunny! Thankyou for posting these beautiful pictures. As you probably know, this is the hardest tie of year for me...I love the country...specially in the Fall !
I'm even going to make my next vacation for "in the country" in Tenneesee..... I want to see the horses running, the farms, the barns, and to wear my sweatshirts and jeans, sweaters and slacks...
I think I have to wait until next year for a nice vacation to the country, though.
