Down A Woodland Road
Ashfield, Massachusetts
The other day I went exploring some of the back roads in Ashfield...always wondering what was around the next corner.
The Lonely Cow
Maybe there were more but I didn't see them anywhere!
Cranston's Christmas Tree FarmBeyond the lovely garden you can see just a few of the hundreds and hundreds of Christmas trees.

Very beautiful Sunny. Thank your for the tour. I love those back country our-of-the-way roads.
Beautiful, Sunny... I enjoy seeing the areas where others live. I love that first photo along that woodland road. Gorgeous!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Lovely and peaceful post Sunny!
Wonderful photos.
I was wondering if you are seeing my blog updates on your dashboard where you follow my blog. I have not been receiving any comments for a few days which is strange because I usually get them every day.
Can you go to my Kaysway blog and leave me a comment somewhere to let me know if you are receiving my updates on your dashboard? I'd appreciate it.
Kay
Sunny,
Thanks for coming by with the comment.

Hi Sunny
It is so green and verdant Sunny...cool and fresh looking, how high are your temps now?
home?
Happy days
Delwyn,
The temperature today was in the low 80's F but very humid. We have had a very wet spring and summer which really wreaked havoc with the vegetable gardens. In the city it is a lot warmer.
Thank you for stopping by, I truly appreciate your comments.
Sunny :)
What a beautiful Christmas tree farm you spotted, Sunny. That is a wonderful area to wander around.
I wouldn't mind a cool Christmas time breeze right about now!
Lovely scenery Sunny. It all looks so peaceful where you are.
I've seen some good views while on vacation and have captured some of them on digi film.
Love the lonely cow shot.
I'm with you on your love traveling down back roads. You never know what you'll find around that next bend.
It is all so lush and green, very beautiful. I love the little out of the way places they are always so much fun. Your photos are great.
The fruit tree on my latest post is, I think, a type of crab apple. I saw it at one of our local parks and took the photos. I was kind of hoping someone would say "look at that ....."
Have a great day,
Judy
Sunny! Thanks for stopping by my blog and browsing. I am particularly fond of my banner photo, I appreciate your comments.
I have been seeing your comments on others sites, but apparently had you mixed up with someone else whose comment box does not allow me to leave a remark or two.
Thanks for having the type of comment box that I prefer. :D
Well, I simply must gather my thoughts when I go to post a comment. I failed to say what I intended to say to begin with. Old age creeping in on me! :D
I love photos of tree-lined roads. Anything that has to do with country and country living. Your photos talk to me. The road beckons me to come along and see what is around the bend. You have good eye for composition and color. I hope to be able to browse your site soon, but not today. My WiFi connection has been down ever since we had a horrific T-storm and we are just now "connected" this afternoon. This has put me behind 6 days again. Never was able to get caught up from when my computer crashed. There were 155 messages waiting for me when I signed on as soon as the repair man left. :( Putting one foot in front of the other, and saying a Thank You!!
Hi Sunny! Thanks so much for your kind comments! I truly appreciate them. Your photos here are beautiful... I wish I could walk among them!
Great post. I always love exploring new roads and areas. This reminds me of my childhood growing up in MA. I miss it! Great blog you have here...i especially like the title! ~Ashley
Very pretty. So peaceful!
Beautiful rural scenes. I particularly like the tall trees in the first shot. What lovely shade they create.
Oh the first picture just begs you to follow, and see where it leads..
Some of my favorite pictures are of rural roads and paths such as this.
Just lovely !
Thanks Sunny for visiting my blog.
You have a lovely blog on nature, really enjoy your piece as I live in the tropical region where I don't get to see temperate climate plants and nature.
Somehow, it gives me the ohhhs and ahhh's when I see all the cold climate flowers and nature.
Ah, how lovely. Makes me feel nostolic for summertime--we've missed our summer this time around, with Dad's injuries and time on the road.
Thank you for sharing this bit of beauty. It made my day.
