Some very wonderful shots. That is a lot of llamas. You have a good variety for your cracker box. The heron is really appreciating have the dock to stand on during the rain.
What a wonderful menagerie, Sunny. I think because you post multiple shots, I feel as if you spend most of your days traveling and taking photographs. What a wonderful way to spend your time. And then you post and share these treks. Thank you.
I love your animal pictures, Sunny. The horse looks so majestic. I have never heard of a llama farm. I remember when I was younger how much I wanted a farm so I could have a llama. The shy, wooly sheep are so cute. I love the brown one.

I love the bull. I would go into the barns and fields as a young child to pet the bulls and cows. I had a favorite bull I named Curly. He would let me scratch his head. I was too young to be afraid or realize the danger I had put myself in.....older and wiser now.
The llamas are hilarious. Although I much prefer stone barns (and old cemeteries) farmyard animals are such nice scenes of rural America. I think your Blue Heron is planning escape escape to Florida...tell him his friends are waiting.
Hi Sunny, I love your images! It's always fun to see photos of animals... Sheep have always been a favorite of mine. Nothing is quite as cute as a little lamb! But I think they are even cute when they grow up.
From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

The photo in the title...
features the Far Away Farm in Ashfield, Massachusetts.
I was born in my grandmother's old mill house in Cornwall, England and came to the USA with my parents in 1958. My Dad was in the RAF and as a child I lived in many different locations in England and even the Rock of Gibraltar.
Massachusetts has always been home in the US except for a brief period when I resided in Idaho, giving me a chance to explore the Great American West. For nearly 30 years I lived on Cape Cod before my husband and I moved back to the mountains* of Massachusetts with our Goldendoodle Lucy, and our cats, Lilly and Molly. I am also the mother of a grown son.
*Some of you would call them hills but they're mountains to me!
