Barnboard Beauty

The Barn
Conway, Massachusetts
This barn has been well taken care of;
it could be converted into a beautiful home.
Look closely and you will see the door from yesterday's post.

What a lovely calico barn.

I'm so glad you stepped back and showed us the entire barn. Very satisfying. I have friends who converted a beautiful barn like this to a home. It was always cold in there through the winter, no matter how much they invested in weather proofing.

You have a good eye!

I would love to convert a barn into a house.

Yes, I recognized it from yesterday right away. The wood is so unique to me. I love the steps leading up to the door and all the green around it. The trees and fall colors behind are a perfect touch. Wonderful picture, Sunny!

This *is* a beautifully preserved barn. Oh, to live in an old barn... sounds so awesome! I think I would really love that!

Have a beautiful day, Sunny!

That would make a beautiful home...I don't think I have ever seen a barn with that many windows..do you think they used this just as a regular old barn????

You're right -- this would make a beautiful home and it looks like the setting is great as well.

Beautiful, Sunny. It's almost like a painting. I could live with that on my wall.

When this picture loaded & I saw that building, I knew it belonged to the door from yesterday.
I actually thought it was a house until I read your entry. It really could be turned into a very nice home, I love that look.

Looks lovely, a little weather beaten, but still nice.

What a lovely barn. Yes it would convert and make a really nice home. I think that would be an excellent renovation project. I imagine it would be an expensive process but what a wonderful place to live.

It's great to see the whole building, it would make a great home, but better still be used for it's intended purpose.

It is a wonderful old barn, the wood has weathered so beautifully. I could move right in.
There's another great photo for your barn book, Sunny...

It reminds me of the photos of barns in Colorado, where they were never ever painted, but left natural. Great barn photo.

Oh, It would make a wonderful home !
I used to watch This Old House on PBS television, they were always doing barn conversions, I was mesmerized with the results.
You have the most beautiful barns up in your area, and thanks for sharing them with us !

To answer your question about car bonnets in my garage = But we have no garage - lol. No these car bonnents were taken at Grantham Carnival in the classic car area.

I just love how its walk in to either the first or the second floor. I also like the plantings on the walkway to the upper floor and how the windows slant this way and that.
