When cats sleep
do they dream?
of catnip fields,
and seas of cream?
do they dream?
of catnip fields,
and seas of cream?
Or maybe places
warm and nice
with comfy beds,
and lots of mice?
And humans at
their beck and call
or maybe cats,
don't dream at all.

Sonny, I don't know which I love more, your poem or your photograph. What a delicious, delightful, darling post.
Sweet poem! I love the picture of Lilly! I say cats definitely dream of these things!

I think Cats dream, I know dogs do, mine run in their sleep and whine and talk in their sleep. do cats make noise in their sleep? this photo is priceless
Pure Beauty flows out of your blog, Sunny. Thanks for making me smile.
The picture is a perfect companion to your poem (or is it the other way around?). In any case, both are wonderful.
You should be a poet. You seem to always find the right words for your pictures. This one is great for your kitty.
Love that kitty napping. Such a sweet little face. Cats are such fascinating creatures. I wish I could own one but allergies prevent it.
Awww what a precious kitty cat! Lilly is her name? She's sooo sweet!
Oh I am sure cats dream.
The picture looks like my "Lilly " cat, she was a character.
Love the poem, and picture, I'm a cat lover at heart so what can I say >^..^<
Love that sweet face in the photo. You are very talented.... you should market this...
Great Kitty photo and love the poem too.
I reckon cats dream, cause they twitch in their sleep.
Lovely photo and poem! Love the 'moving on' post below also.
Oh Sunny if you only knew. I have barnloads of barn cats and four at the house. Who'd have ever thought that I, a bonafide dog lover, would come to love cats so much? (Lest you think I am the old cat lady, I did try keeping up with spaying and neutering the barn cats but couldn't). Great pic!
Very nice poem, our daughters cat seems to have Abe and myself catering to him all the time. Daughter can't believe we do that for her cat. She said we have spoiled him.
What a sweet, sweet face!!!
Cute post, Sunny. The life of a cat (or dog) has got to be good--especially if they live with a family who loves them and takes care of them.
Hugs,
Betsy
Delightful! I love the photo and the poem fits it wonderfully. I also enjoyed the Moving On post.
Sweet photograph and lovely poem....I'm sure they'll dream :)
I love this!
Lovely post Sunny...What a wonderful shot of Lilly!
Oh, Sunny--what a beautiful photograph. And I LOVE that poem. It is wonderful!
By the way--did I tell you that when I was a teenager, my nickname was Sunny? (Grin)
PS Clytie and I might just have to adopt you.
What a wonderful poem and an absolutely precious kitty nose. We love it.

Love your poem, enjoyed the photos. Cat's do dream. They love, they care, they watch over us. Gardian Angels that's what cat's are.
I sure hope they do and that they are filled with all of the above. Sweet post.
Sunny I love this post! What an adorable kitty and a very sweet poem. I am enchanted. Thank you. :o)
Aw, what a face! She's lovely, Sunny! and what a fabulous poem. I know cats dream, mine starts running and blinking, even clacking in her sleep. Too funny!
Lizzy :)
What a sweet photo and the poem is so perfect. Lilly is a beautiful cat.
...feel as though I could reach out and stroke the screen and feel the softness of that beautiful nose.....
