Winter is right around the corner, but you still managed to find some nice colors. And your Animal Crackers post cracked me up! I love your blog, Sunny!
Hi Sunny;) I popped in for a quick visit and am I glad I did. While South Africa is vibrant, alive and green, it's wonderful to see your fall colours so beautifully captured. And the animals, wow, they are beautifully snapped.
The geese are getting serious now about their southern journey. Here, too, we see more bare branches, more blankets of leaves to kick through on the woodland paths.
Yes, our trees will all be bare soon. Hard to believe, but usually way before Thanksgiving they are bare, not one leaf left. Then that cold white stuff which seems to stick around forever and ever.
Well as you know our leaves are long gone and I am posting snow pictures. BRR! So it's very nice for me to come over here and still get to pretend it will be fall for another few days yet. :)
Great Sunny.... The "FALL" pictures are so good. I like to see 'late' Fall--with the trees getting bare. Our trees are getting bare also--although there are some which are hanging onto their leaves!!!!
There IS beauty in the winter wools! This is transition time where I live, too. The leaves that were once a glorious yellow are now gone or crumbly brown. Some trees still have green leaves; some have red. Many trees are bare like the sycamores in your photo. Your barn photos have inspired me. Perhaps one day I will post some of my barn photos.
From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

The photo in the title...
features the Far Away Farm in Ashfield, Massachusetts.
I was born in my grandmother's old mill house in Cornwall, England and came to the USA with my parents in 1958. My Dad was in the RAF and as a child I lived in many different locations in England and even the Rock of Gibraltar.
Massachusetts has always been home in the US except for a brief period when I resided in Idaho, giving me a chance to explore the Great American West. For nearly 30 years I lived on Cape Cod before my husband and I moved back to the mountains* of Massachusetts with our Goldendoodle Lucy, and our cats, Lilly and Molly. I am also the mother of a grown son.
*Some of you would call them hills but they're mountains to me!

Great pictures. When the leaves fall we can see the bones of the trees better. Great barn picture.

Love the white trunks, starkly beautiful even when naked.
