Mr. SquirrelI walked alone among the trees...
feeling eyes stare down at me,
Leaves crunched, twigs snapped...
I carried on,
Then looked up...
and he was gone!
feeling eyes stare down at me,
Leaves crunched, twigs snapped...
I carried on,
Then looked up...
and he was gone!

I've been chasing squirrels all weekend! ... through the glass that is. I've got one that torments me so. Flaunting himself on the tree just outside my big sliding glass door. Evil squirrel.

This is such a busy time for the squirrels. They are never still. Except for this moment when you caught one. Fun shot and poem.
It must have been a weekend for squirrels.
Marcy got some great shots and I noticed Orange was stalking one in a tree this morning(he would not hurt it).
Love your poem and the photo.
This poem is so cute and fits so well with your picture!
Adorable post!

We have many squirrels running around here today. I like both your verse and your photo!
I am always amazed at what I see when I stop walking and look up. That is a wonderful lesson photography has taught me. Lovely poetic prose, Sunny
We had 2 squirrels run across the road in front of us this morning. I thought we had hit one of them, but thank goodness, we didn't.
You did well to get that shot, I enjoyed the poem too.
I really like the writing. It is so good. I have two squirrels who try to take my old apples to their nest. I can be out there and hear a clunk, as the lose grip of it out of their mouths while trying to jump from my fence to the rooftop.
But you caught him with your camera, grand shot Sunny.
Lovely little poem to go along with the photo.
Such a cutie pie those little high up squirels!
Loved the poem Sunny and squirrels too, even though they stole green tomatoes from the garden this summer.
Loved the shot and the poem. Usually my squirrel shots are of the bare branch they were just on.
Oh... he's a sneaky little watcher isn't he? Cheeky. :o)
Cute poem! I always get a smile from visiting your site.
