Woodland Surprise

On a recent Sunday drive, we stopped to walk
our dog Lucy beside the Green River that bubbled
and churned over the rocks...
(This is not the Green River.)

In the distance, above the splashes and gurgles of the Green,
I could hear the sound of other rushing water...

A little further down the dirt road, we discovered a
wonderful little waterfall cascading down the hillside...

I immediately thought of my fellow blogger Betsy
who, along with her husband George, has photographed
more waterfalls than, probably, National Geographic.

video
Please enjoy this woodland melody.

That sound should help someone sleep at night. Playing it softly. Nice photos.

Must be so nice to live near the woods. I'm in a "mostly desert" area myself.
