Whiteout
Ashfield, Massachusetts Howling winds
Blowing snow
So glad we have
No where to go.
Ashfield, Massachusetts Howling winds
Blowing snow
So glad we have
No where to go.
Light the fire
Steep the tea
Let's stay home
Just you and me.
Keeping warm
From Winter's sting
We'll count the days
Until it's Spring!

Hi Sunny great photo and prose but far to cold looking for me. I have a Radio Ham friend in Brocton Mass and have not heard from him for a while. With that weather I guess he's hibernating for the winter
Great photo. It looks very scary to walk down that path. Love the poem.
It looks so beautiful, but I wouldn't want go out in the blowing snow either. Delightful poem!
Beautiful words and picture.
We finally got some measurable snow today about a month too early for normal.
This is wonderful, Sunny.
Whiteout is right!
Looks as cold there as here.
Stay warm by the fire!
Warm wishes for 2010 Sunny!
Certainly looks treacherous!! Be careful!! Pretty though...
we are brrrr here also. 37 when we got up and that is extra cold for south florida. good poem for the picture, i could feel the frost on my ears looking at the photo.
Great photo, if you stay indoors.lol.
Ah, yes, this is the kind of weather I like when there's nowhere to go. Great shot, but I hate to think of you out there taking it. Brrrr.
Vicki
Just a brilliant photo. Can really feel the cold from that one.
The poem was a perfect match to the fantastic photo.
Take Care Sunny
Brrrr..the photo lets me know to bundle up before heading outdoors! I am in South Dakota and we have some bitterly cold weather coming our way later in the wk! Stay warm!
Thats a nice, cold looking photo. Glad I'm not in it. It's cold, cloudy, and windy today with a few snow flurries. Not a good time to go outside.
Stay warm, Sunny. Have a nice New Year. Thanks for all your comments from last year. They were all appreciated.
Your picture makes me shiver and your poem makes me smile.
That looks so cold!
Wow---what a fabulous photo, Sunny.... I'd love to have some of your snow---just a little!!!! It's very very cold here (going down to 7 degrees tonight) ---but no snow.
I love winter---but with no snow, it's not much fun!!!! Hope you are doing okay up there.... I am really jealous of all who are getting snow.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love this photo...the tree line and road that fade into white...
The poem is lovely and so heartfelt!!!
I'll drink some tea to that! It is howling and cold outside my window but without the snow.
I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the sentiments of your poem. Your picture does do a great job of making me long for Spring.
absolutely! love your poem! It's perfect!
Another lovely photo as is that beautiful poem you wrote.
Wow, What a shot! I can feel the cold through the screen.
