I love the color contrast. What a great old pump! You just don't see those around much (at least where I live) anymore.

Cool photo!

Wooo---that is an old farm pump, Sunny.. That's a good picture for Joan (Retired one) in Michigan's January photo contest using the theme RUST. You should enter....

Hugs,
Betsy

I love old stuff like that. Great colors - the blue and the red barn.

Now that is so cool. I just love old things like this and they always make such good subjects for photo.

Wow, that is so cool. The faceplate looks more like scales than something to measure gallons. I love the colors in this.

Gosh, brilliant. Older items full of character. None of this metric measuring either!
Really like all your farm animal photos aswell.
Saw lots of sheep on the top of a hill in the snow recently.
Although they have their woolly coats, still felt sorry for them having to cope with the elements.

Take care

I love the old gas stations, and the offers we used to receive there. Thanks for inspiring great memories.

I wonder if it could actually still be in use, the hose looks almost new.

I remember a pump very similar to this on my uncle's farm in southern Indiana.

Very nice, but I'd rather have a free fill up with every dozen!
