Illusion

White Barn
Ashfield, Massachusetts

The snow looks like it's halfway up the side of this barn...
but actually, the snow is covering a ramp leading to the door.

Very cool Sunny. That one of the neat things about photography. Being able to create illusions just by picking the correct angle.

The sky looks fashionable the white clouds go very nicely with the snow. :) Great shot!

Nice shot well framed by the trees and the covered ramp certainly gives the impression of deep snow.

It's a matter of perspective.
Have a nice Sunday.

Tricky snow, we never know what we will find underneath, perhaps even Yeti! :) Nice capture!
God bless you!

I wouldn't be surprised if the snow DID go up that far... it seems everyone is getting their fair share of the white stuff and the cold... pretty picture.

I love old barns and you always manage to find such great ones.

Love your blog, by the way.

Thanks for the visit my way.

you have a talent for finding the most amazing shots. I love all your barns, but the talent is also for God's Creatures. winter barn is beautiful

It looks like it could be a two-floor barn - animals in the bottom and hay in the top.

Hi Sunny! Good morning :)

That is a beauteeeeful winter scene. Love the shadows on the snow, of the tree branches. :)

Is this taken near your home ? Is this your barn ??? Lucky girl, if it is !

Have a nice, warm and cozy Sunday...

I like the gentle pretty music that's playing as I look, read, and type. :)

We have a barn just like that here in town, Sunny. I should walk over and take a shot so you can see how the two compare. Stay warm.

A lovely winter scene Sunny!

It had me fooled. I thought it was really deep snow.

Made me think of that episode on "Little House on the Prairie" when the snow went right up to the second story window and they used it as an exit and entrance.....

It may be an illusion, but the picture is gorgeous with the white snow and barn against the blue sky.

Another beautiful winter scene.

That is really beautiful winter scene. I love white fresh snow against that lovely blue sky. We don’t have snow at all and that is unusual for this part of the world. Many places in my country are flooded due to heavy rains.
