Road To SomewhereAshfield, Massachusetts
My sense of direction
is not the best
Although I do know
east from west.
And north from south
and up from down
The problem happens
in my own home town.
To capture scenes
of snow and frost
I take back roads
and end up lost.
It's not my fault
I'm not to blame
That country roads
all look the same!

That's a wonderful picture and I like the way the road gets foggy and ties in with the poem.
Very nicely done.
Beautiful! I wouldn't mind being lost with you. You find some delightful sights.
What a fog day!
Amazing shot dear Sunny, you work very well with your camera! And I liked your title as well, it mixed perfectly with the poem and picture!

They do look the same.Even from one continent to another.
Have a nice day.
That photo could be anywhere!
I've been lost on back roads myself, Sunny, my parents use to do it on purpose...we'd pack a lunch and go exploring on weekends.
I love the photo and the poem...fantastic!
Like the poem very much and this one looks a little like the other end of the photo from Jan. 19th. I can get lost very easily, unless I'm paying close attention. LOL
Beautiful picture, Sunny. I love to travel on old country roads --and you are right: they all DO look alike!!!! But--they are so much fun to travel on...
Hugs,
Betsy
Sometimes it is fun to get lost .... not in a blizzard, though.
Love the poem, Sunny! I have a terrible sense of direction and would probably have to carry around a GPS out there.
This picture is lovely. I like the winding road as far as the eye can see. One can imagine what's around the bend.
This is a gorgeous photo. The receding values from dark to light are just amazing.
My son gave me a new GPS and he qualified it by saying have a map with you as it may take you down a very bad road. I get lost well enough on my own. It does have a section where it will tell me where the nearest Starbucks is located. What a deal! The barn photo is a beauty too. I am jealous of where you live.
A lovely poem to support a Brilliant wintery photo!
I could certainly understand getting lost on a day like this. But the picture is beautiful and I like your poem!
Another beautiful shot Sunny and great words to accompany it.
A lovely poem with a comical flair, and I do love that foggy picture.
That's why my wife doesn't like to ride with me. I see a rode like that I gotta see what is at the other end.
Super lost piccy Sunny, love the words too.
Hi Sunny
I am glad you got lost on that one...
Happy days
You just be careful on those back roads, Sunny. Some of them can be treacherous.
I'm addicted to vanishing point, the fog + snow convey a spiritual sense of suspension, like to be in Silent Hill for a moment :)
