Sun Dreams

Woodland Road
Ashfield, Massachusetts

"Even in the winter,
even in the midst of the storm,
the sun is still there.
Somewhere, up above the clouds,
it still shines and warms and pulls at the life
buried deep inside the brown branches and frozen earth.
The sun is there! Spring will come!
The clouds cannot stay forever."
~Gloria Gaither

These wintery pictures that you've been posting are really beautiful. It's gotten to the point that I think of your blog whenever I see beautiful country scenery.

On my blog you said "I'm curious as to what is next to the surfer's board." I don't know what your are refering to. I just see water and the surfer's reflection?

Your road is so serene. Yes, I saw this yesterday morning that you were to get snow. I am watching to see what Maine is doing and you seem to be in the midst of it all. Take care.

Beautiful winter photo. That is a good thought to keep too. This winter gloom is getting old. I sure could use some of that hidden sun.

I love the wintry snow look...If it's going to be cold...might as well be snow covered too!

You do a wonderful job of capturing your snowy woods. Although there has obviously been traffic along the road, the peacefulness of the scene is predominant. I really like this picture!

I'm so sorry Sunny, I'll send some warm weather & sun your way, cuz we're getting lots of it, which is very very unusual here for this time of year - But I'm NOT complaining, it's BEAUTIFUL!
We don't get snow here like you do up there, so I can appreciate your beautiful snow, too!

Lovely winter scene, I wish that sun up there above those clouds would peek through. I'm so tired of dreary, rainy, camp, wet, cold days, a little sun would work wonders.

Reminds me of snowmobile trails in WI ....... makes me want to round that curve to see what is up ahead.

This scene just invites you to see what's around the next corner. Lovely!

this photo made me want to walk down that road and see where it goes. I love trails through the woods and this qualifies. I would like to see a photo in the spring

That pathway draws me right into that beautiful winter scene. I was just thinking about how even when the sky is cloudy, "the sun is still there."

Hello again Sunny. I thought it was a reflection of the surfer's hand but after a closer inspection it looks like seaweed. Good eye. :)
