Oh isn't it just huge, Sunny? I don't have my long lens here (was in for repairs when I flew up to the Sudan) and took many photos this morning. Nothing spectacular without the zoom. Thanks for all you did for me offline, Sunny. It's much appreciated. I'll let you know what I get... Thanks for your kind comment on my recipe post today. I'd like to hear about it if you bake the same. (((Hugs))) Jo

Beautiful shot Sunny. It's nice to see the moon in photos at least, we have had so much fog and overcast skies the moon is hiding here.

I didn't know that, Sunny. I'm fascinated by the moon and stars, and this picture is really good. Everything is so CLEAR. Congratulations.

Yours is the 1st shot of this bright moon as yet, alas, I was out - so I missed it.
Did you capture Mars by its side?

Looks not quite full. I'll be on the lookout for vampires if I go out tonight.

The skies here were too overcast to view, at least when we looked.

I bet your really did howl! Not. It is a cold looking moon. I haven't tried out the camera for night yet. Maybe this summer, I can wait. We are warming today to 16 degrees which is nice from what we have been experiencing. Take care.

Oh, if only we could see it....the dastardly clouds have covered it over. (sniff)

I found it interesting as to how they came up with the full moon names.

I saw that moon two nights ago--and even posted a picture in my blog.. That was the night BEFORE the big storm... We haven't been able to see the moon since!!!! Lots of snow and ice here.

Betsy
