You have been to the landfill. I saw this machine skyscraper at two different places. I added to it with a humidifier. It still makes a cool picture. We missed the big one and everybody south is going to get the snow and ice again. Take care and plan to do something fun for the weekend.
You do have a nice sense of humor, there must be millions of these abandoned old appliances around the world gathering rust and leaking pollutants everywhere. I have even dumped some of them. haha
Hope they are there to get recycled somewhere.... Here in TN, when the country folk finish with their old appliances, they take them out into the country or the woods and just dump them somewhere... Ridiculous, isn't it???? OR--they leave them sitting on or near their front porch along with alot of other junk they can't get in their trailer home... NASTY... You've heard of Trailer Trash, haven't you??? We have 'em here!!!! Hugs, Betsy
From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

The photo in the title...
features the Far Away Farm in Ashfield, Massachusetts.
I was born in my grandmother's old mill house in Cornwall, England and came to the USA with my parents in 1958. My Dad was in the RAF and as a child I lived in many different locations in England and even the Rock of Gibraltar.
Massachusetts has always been home in the US except for a brief period when I resided in Idaho, giving me a chance to explore the Great American West. For nearly 30 years I lived on Cape Cod before my husband and I moved back to the mountains* of Massachusetts with our Goldendoodle Lucy, and our cats, Lilly and Molly. I am also the mother of a grown son.
*Some of you would call them hills but they're mountains to me!

Love this, didn't realize you were in my neighborhood.

A spaceship maybe shooting into the stars :)
You came up with a very clever post today. That is a first for me, seeing so many dead appliances. Guess it could be called grave yard for appliances.
Works for me! heheheee

hahahahahahahaha Sunny, this is AWESOME!
I was going to say, perhaps it's appliance hell... but it would be warmer I think. ;o)
If only that were true. More likely they will continue to set there and rust, making someone's property or town look trashy.
That looks like some of the backroads I have seen.
houla comme ca dehors avec les fluides, bonjour la pollution ;O(
bon w end ;O)
I suppose some dreams might come true....
If it wasn't for the snow I'd say your picture was taken in Tennessee!
Appropriate caption for this amazing photo.
LOL! Too funny! You find the darndest things. :)

Very cool! I bet there lots more interesting shots to be found there.
Hmmm, food for thought....
Is this the graveyard for old appliances?
It is probably on their top 10 list. As long as they are recycled, that is a best thing.
