Love the verse. This picture is quite nice. I like the blue water with the ice and snow on the pier. The sun is shining but it's still cold. I guess we're getting there...spring that is. I always love the composition of your photos, Sunny. I bet the owners of these dinghies wish spring would hurry up!
Spring must be just around the corner. The birds are very active here. Early morning and late afternoon, hard to get pics though they will not sit still. Hawks from last year are back. I love to chase them all with my camera. I think they like to tease me. Great pics of boats"eagerly awaiting some fishermen".
Looks chilly! It has snow lightly here for three days and we have a lot of accumulation. It is bitter cold, but there are birds out there. I just crumbled the leftover cornbread from last night and tossed it out to watch them eat...
If it was left up to me, I would not truly not be going anywhere in that boat. I do not know why I have a fear of small boats out in the water. Thanks Sunny for dropping by.
From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

The photo in the title...
features the Far Away Farm in Ashfield, Massachusetts.
I was born in my grandmother's old mill house in Cornwall, England and came to the USA with my parents in 1958. My Dad was in the RAF and as a child I lived in many different locations in England and even the Rock of Gibraltar.
Massachusetts has always been home in the US except for a brief period when I resided in Idaho, giving me a chance to explore the Great American West. For nearly 30 years I lived on Cape Cod before my husband and I moved back to the mountains* of Massachusetts with our Goldendoodle Lucy, and our cats, Lilly and Molly. I am also the mother of a grown son.
*Some of you would call them hills but they're mountains to me!

It would have been cool if we did similar posts again but I really like this one. It's a really good picture.

...and the first thing I thought, Wood holes, of course they are not going anywhere!
Then I read it again and realized it was cold and the name of town, not the condition of the boats.
Wish it would drift a little faster, don't you?
Interesting picture! Happy Spring - coming soon!
What a pretty shot Sunny!
A nice view of blue water when we can't see blue sky. More snow again today of course, will watch birds and get work done.
Spring eill really be appreciated, when it finally arrives this year!

It woould be lovely to go out in one of your boats but maybe not in this cold weather. Love the blue water.
Nice photograph. The different shades of blue and the light are wonderful.
For some reason, we don't have dinghies in Oklahoma. Well, we do, they just don't call them that.
now that is a cold looking couple of boats. no boating for me on a day like that. come on spring is my mantra now
Ahhh... what a beautiful and relaxing sight to see! I am SO looking forward to spring!
If the tide is just right Spring should reach you soon... I sure hope so!
