About Me
- Sunny
- I was born in my grandmother's old mill house in Cornwall, England and came to the USA with my parents in 1958. My Dad was in the RAF and as a child I lived in many different locations in England and even the Rock of Gibraltar.
Massachusetts has always been home in the US except for a brief period when I resided in Idaho, giving me a chance to explore the Great American West.
For nearly 30 years I lived on Cape Cod before my husband and I moved back to the mountains* of Massachusetts with our Goldendoodle Lucy, and our cats, Lilly and Molly. I am also the mother of a grown son.
*Some of you would call them hills but they're mountains to me!

That is stunning. Very nice, but it sure looks cold. Spring can't get here soon enough.
I know it's a large ice jam in the Deerfield River, but my first thought was, it looks like my country drive! It's snowing again this morning, too!
I don't know about you but I'm feeling a little envious of our neighbors to the south.

Oh---I love that blue color of the ice/water. Love the quote also... We will always have the seasons --even though sometimes, one of them is more fierce than another... I'm just thankful to live in an area which does have all four seasons --and none are too wicked for us.

I love the blue green colors. I don't think that I've ever seen an ice jam. Not too many of those here in OK.
Thank goodness we can always count on spring coming! It's a couple of months away here, but we have had an easy winter, and we are getting lots more daylight now, so it's all downhill from here.
