Power Tower

Like a giant geometric sculpture, this powerline tower is one
of many that march across the pristine landscape
atop Bug Hill in Ashfield, Massachusetts.

It looks cool like this. I'm glad that you separated it from the landscape.

You are right Sunny, they do seem to march like anorexic robots.

Looks better in your picture than those invading our countryside.

I like the way you've composed this, Sunny. The power tower is like a monster out of one of those 1950s Japanese horror films. Is the stiffness and pain diminishing?

Interesting picture, Sunny.... What would we do without all of these towers and eye-sores in our lives?????? We NEED them!!!

Unfortunately they run across the back acreage, in the Winter you can hear the snow sizzling on the lines, at night they are the hotel of choice for the Turkey Vultures..
Great shot, they really do look like Robots !

you did it once again, found a great shot of something no one would think of taking a photo of. even a power line can be interesting and pretty with the right photographer behind that camera.

Can you tell I am trying to catch up on my reading? Great geometric shapes. We had ice storms a few years ago take miles of these guys out. They had to totally redesign them so the wires would break periodically rather that have all the towers fall down like dominoes.
