Summer Sizzle

During the heatwave, it seemed, even the clouds
jumped in the birdbath to cool off!

Beautiful reflection of the sky! I'm sure the birds appreciate the birdbath when the weather's so hot. :)

You are so right! Those clouds DID jump into the bird bath! And Sunny, did you notice the eentsy weentsy tiny little heart, right there near the middle???

You are sooo creative. I rushed out to look at my birdbath but it was in its usual dull non-reflective state. Maybe if it was hotter........

Great shot. The bird bath looks like it's coated in alabaster.

It's just a bit too small for me :-) but I wish I could water my feathers there! It's so unbearably hot here, 90° in my apartment right now, 10:20 PM!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Gorgeous reflection of the sky, you captured it just beautifully !
Rain supposed to be moving in around our parts, a whole lot of rumbling, but no water, as of yet ;)

Nice reflection! If the birdbath had been in the sun for any time at all I would imagine that it warmed up to make for a nice toasty bath.

Sunny your are something else. I would never even looked in the birdbath let along see the clouds reflected. You are so clever.

I don't blame the clouds for trying to cool off in the birdbath. We finally got a little rain this afternoon which helped a little, but I'm not sure for how long.
