From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

I do hope you'll let us know what this is.
I have never seen anything like it before, it almost doesn't look real. I will check back as I am sure someone out there will know.
Looks like it might be a Spotted Knapweed, Sunny. Nice photo!
No idea, but it's beautiful!

That is quite unusual; but don't have a clue on this one.
looks like something from the little shop of horrors. how are you feeling? any shows coming up?
Really interesting form and grow.
hubby is from PA and he says he has seen them but doesn't know what they are. it is really interesting. i have not seen one before but i like it a lot
My first thought was Venus Flytrap and I do agree with brattcat. Anyway, I haven't seen it growing here in Kentucky, yet.
It sure is unique unto itself.. one of natures mysteries.
hugs and smiles, Sunny :D
Don't recognize it, but do like the look of it...wonder if it's native to your area?
I have never seen anything like it before. Amazing plant though. Hope someone can identify it for you.
Have never seen anything like it. Keep us posted, I'd be curious to know what it is.
Its a knappscapdunno weed.lol.
Have a good day Sunny.
Whatever it is, Sunny, I don't think I'd be putting my fingers near it - it looks like it might pull me in and eat me whole!!!
