Any idea what this strange plant may be?

I have never seen anything like it before, it almost doesn't look real. I will check back as I am sure someone out there will know.

hubby is from PA and he says he has seen them but doesn't know what they are. it is really interesting. i have not seen one before but i like it a lot

My first thought was Venus Flytrap and I do agree with brattcat. Anyway, I haven't seen it growing here in Kentucky, yet.
