PICTURE TAKING BASICS If you want to take a picture of your cat in a window... don't shoot it through the screen, unless you want it to look like a needlepoint pattern!
don't aging movie stars prefer being shot through some sort of mesh fabric...it helps the wrinkles disappear...maybe your cat is the reincarnation of Bette Davis?
Well, one thing I've learned about photography is that sometimes you throw out all the rules, and another is that sometimes your mistakes turn out to be something quite special. I think you've made a lot of people smile today, and that is definitely special!
From the shores of New England to the Oregon coast, I would like to share some of the places that I've been and things that I've seen.
As we travel you may notice; there is an emphasis on Massachusetts...my home state, you will see a lot of barns...that I love, whether old, new or dilapidated, we are not traveling in any particular direction, and we may visit some places more than once.
Please enjoy my American Photo Journey and your comments are welcomed!

I love what brattcat said although this girl doesn't need any enhancements. She's so pretty. I just love cats in windows, even behind screens.
What a lovely picture, Sunny. It's good to see you. Hope you're having a great weekend. Blessings, Jo
Aw, she's cute that way too!
I like it too! It makes a great needlepoint.
... and she/he doesn't look like a happy camper either. I thought it WAS a needlepoint. Ha!

She is cute, and she looks curious about your camera!

Funny! I really wondered about the title. It does look a needlepoint pattern.
Very Arty my friend.
Funny! I think if you just moved back a little, your lens would have focused on the cat and not the screen. But I like this effect!
It looks like she is in jail. Cute kitty.
